Founded in 1995, Prevention Laboratories, LLC is an Illinois Limited Liability Company. It is headquartered in Raleigh, IL. The founder, Jerry Douglas, DMD, brought to Prevention Laboratories the formulation and patent application for the oral rinse formula known as PREVENTION.
      Originally founded with a corporate business purpose to develop and market a new concept in oral rinse that is based on antimicrobial selectivity, the company has expanded significantly since 1995 with the addition of skin care products. Prevention Burn and Wound Spray for burn, wounds and abrasions, Prevention Insect Bite Relief for treatment of insect bites, Prevention After Sun Mist for sunburns, and our new Suncool spray that was designed for frequent tanners. The company continues to expand and has more products for skin care in the early stages of development.
     Prevention’s core business still lies in its mouth rinse formulation. Prevention produces and ships five specialized rinses; our original Everyday Mouth Rinse, Antibacterial Non-alcohol formula, Orthodontic and Periodontal formulas; as well as, our new Oncology mouth rinse.
     The FDA has placed the Prevention™ formula in category one for safety. Prevention Laboratories has constantly worked to expand this platform science into other products now available for healthcare professionals and consumers.
